Diego collaborates in the NAIAD research department and also in a project whose objective is to identify the best areas to develop forestry projects in the Comunidad de Madrid.
He holds a bachellor in Biology from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid) (2014-2018). During his bachellor he has worked on research lines about climate change and antropic effects on the resilience of ecosystems. He also has worked in an European project studying bird/insect trophic relationships in mediterranean forests.
Diego is specially interested in the anthropic effects and in the effects of climate change on ecosystems, and in the restoration and conservation of Iberian river ecosystems.
Diego's contract is subsidised within the Programme to Promote the Recruitment into Practices of young people registered in the File of the National System of Youth Guarantee in the area of the Community of Madrid, co-financed by Funds from the European Union and the Community of Madrid.
